FundYourEdge Review
FundYourEdge sells one-step evaluations for simulated futures accounts on Rithmic in two packages, Prime and Clear, with the same $25K–$150K sizes and prices, run by a Wyoming company that publishes no founding date.
- Prime· daily limit from $50K
- Clear· no daily limit
Some official terms conflict. FundYourEdge's help centre, rules page, Terms and the code of the site's own Eval Simulator disagree on at least 4 points, including whether an intraday dip below the Max Loss Limit can end an account and whether the limit locks during the evaluation; further differences are noted inline. Our verdict on FundYourEdge
What FundYourEdge publishes. List prices run from $149 to $429 for $25K–$150K, the same on Prime and Clear, and 60 help articles set out targets, loss limits, payout gates and per-payout caps in dollar tables. Funded activation is free and the split is 90%.S2S6S7S8
What is unresolved. The help centre says an intraday dip cannot end an account, while the site's own simulator code ends a run on an intraday touch. The help centre and rules page also disagree on the evaluation lock and Clear's consistency gate, and the binding Funded Account Agreement is not published.S8S34S3S4
What is unverified. No founding date is published, and the privacy policy still mentions a launch waitlist. Its CME Third-Party Assessment Provider registration, “thousands” of traders and “hundreds of thousands in real payouts” are its own claims, and the Terms call payouts discretionary.S30S5S1S28S4
How we review & sourcing: built from FundYourEdge's Terms, Regulatory Disclosures, sales pages and all 60 help-centre articles as published on 16 Oct 2026, plus supporting pages and the site's simulator script. We did not buy an account, trade or request a payout. Sources and method
Bottom line · Clearly priced futures evaluations with unusually detailed rules, but payouts stop at five per account and the firm's own pages disagree on how the drawdown is enforced. If you buy, get the drawdown answer in writing and size your expectations to the caps.
Pros
- List prices from $149, one-time; free funded activation
- 90% split on both packages
- No daily loss limit on Clear or $25K Prime
- No consistency rule in the Prime evaluation
- Payout gates, caps and buffers published in dollars
Cons
- Five payouts per account, each capped at $1,000–$3,500
- Intraday-breach and evaluation-lock terms conflict
- Commissions come out of the balance despite “no other fees”
- No founding date; track-record claims unverified
- Funded Account Agreement and live-program terms unpublished
Who FundYourEdge may suit
May suit
- Futures day traders who are flat by 4:59 PM ET
- Traders who want no daily loss limit and accept scaling size (Clear)
- Traders who want a daily guardrail and may pass on one big day (Prime; payouts still apply the 40% best-day rule)
- Rithmic users on tradesea, MotiveWave, Quantower, ATAS, Bookmap or Sierra Chart
Use caution if you
- Hold positions overnight or over weekends
- Need large or frequent withdrawals: five per account, each capped
- Trade on NinjaTrader or copy other traders' trades
- Rely on intraday dips not counting before it is confirmed in writing
- Live in one of the 22 payout-restricted countries
Availability & country restrictions
FundYourEdge publishes one list: 22 countries it cannot send payouts to, judged by your country of residence. The Terms also exclude residents of jurisdictions it restricts “as published from time to time”, say it operates from the United States and let it add or remove jurisdictions at any time.S16S4S5
Restricted (Help Center payout list)
- Afghanistan
- Belarus
- Central African Republic
- Congo (Brazzaville)
- Congo (Kinshasa)

- Iran
- Iraq
- Libya
- Mali
- Myanmar (Burma)
- North Korea
- Russia

The help centre says unlisted countries are fine, but absence from the list does not confirm acceptance: the Terms let the firm restrict other jurisdictions at any time.
Account sizes, fees and discounts
FundYourEdge charges a one-time USD fee per evaluation, the same for Prime and Clear. These are the 8 list prices on its funding page on 16 Oct 2026, each card with its own Purchase button; the cheapest is $149 for a $25K account in either package.S2S1

Key trading rules by model
Both packages run a 30-calendar-day evaluation with one profit target and the same Max Loss Limit. Every position must be flat by 4:59 PM ET (earlier on agricultural products), with no overnight or weekend holds, and commissions come out of the balance, so targets and limits are measured after them. Four figures read $25K / $50K / $100K / $150K.S4S3S17

Not published: the Terms say the full funded rules, drawdown mechanics and payout terms are set out in a Funded Account Agreement accepted at activation, which is not public.S4
How the Max Loss Limit moves
The floor trails the highest closing balance, never an intraday high: on $50K it starts at $48,000 and rises with each higher close. Once funded, a close above $52,100 locks it at $50,100 for good ($26,100 and $25,100 on $25K; $154,600 and $150,100 on $150K). Whether an intraday touch ends the account (C1) and whether the lock applies in the evaluation (C2) are disputed.S8S9S34
Daily limits and consistency
Prime's daily limit is soft: the help centre says the account continues, and the site's simulator code says new orders are blocked for the rest of the day. Once funded it keeps the same amount until the account closes above the balance that locks its Max Loss Limit, then becomes the Edge DLL, 60% of the best end-of-day profit, which only rises. Clear has no daily limit; instead its evaluation is upgraded only when the best day is at most 50% of profit, and funded size starts at 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 minis.S10S34S12S13
Automation, copying and hedging
Your own automated strategy is allowed; off-the-shelf bots, HFT and arbitrage are not. You may copy trades between your own accounts but not from other traders, signal services or third-party copiers, and hedging is banned within and across accounts. News trading is unrestricted in the evaluation and, once funded, subject to “fair-use limits” the firm does not define. No stop loss is required.S4S18S3S19
Accounts, devices and inactivity
You may hold up to 10 active evaluations and 3 funded accounts, as household totals under one login per household, and each account must be traded independently. No VPN or device rule is published, but the firm logs IP address, device and approximate location to detect multiple accounts, and the Terms bar circumventing its geographic restrictions. Extended inactivity on a funded account is a termination ground with no period stated.S3S4S18S30

Payouts and profit sharing
Every request needs a funded account that clears its package's gates, at least $500 and, before the first payout, a one-time Rise verification. Each request then passes risk and compliance review, and the Terms call payouts discretionary compensation that can be denied, delayed, reduced or clawed back.S4S6S7S14

Methods: Rise only: approved payouts land in your Rise account, and you withdraw to your own bank account or a USDC wallet. The firm says nothing is deducted beyond its 10% share; Rise and bank fees and settlement times are not published. Payouts cannot be sent to the 22 countries on the restricted list.S15S3S4S16
Typical timing, not a pledge
The Terms give “typical timeframes, not guarantees”: 3–5 business days to process, then 1–2 to disburse after approval, while the funding cards quote only the second figure. Each request passes eight tracked steps, including risk and compliance reviews, and one approved after Friday's close waits for the next session to settle. We did not test it.S4S14S2
Prime's buffer, in dollars
On $50K Prime only the balance above $52,100 can be withdrawn, so the $500 minimum needs $52,600 (a profit of $2,600) and the $2,000 first-payout cap needs $54,100. After the payout the floor stays locked at $50,100, leaving the full $2,000 of room. Whether you receive the request in full or 90% of it is not stated.S6S8S15
Clear's relock, in dollars
On $25K Clear, after five qualifying days and a highest close of $26,000, the 50% cap allows exactly the $500 minimum. Requesting it relocks the floor at $25,100 while the balance falls to $25,500: $400 of room instead of $1,000, and the size limit drops back to 1 mini. Prime keeps the full Max Loss Limit as room after a payout; Clear does not.S7S9S13
Five payouts, then a discretionary move
Each funded account allows five payouts. At the caps that is $7,000–$17,000 on Prime and $5,000–$15,000 on Clear per account; whether the caps apply before or after the 90% split is not stated. After the fifth the account becomes eligible for a separate live program whose terms are not published, and the move “isn't automatic”. The help centre counts “completed” payouts in one sentence and “approved” ones in the next.S6S7S24S4
Official information that needs clarification
The help centre (all 60 articles last updated 22 Sep 2026), the rules page, the Terms and the public code of the site's own Eval Simulator disagree on 4 key points, from whether an intraday dip ends an account to whether NinjaTrader is allowed, and the binding Funded Account Agreement is not public. Smaller differences are noted inline; ask support in writing which version applies to you.S8S3S34S4
Where FundYourEdge's documents disagree
| Issue | Source A | Source B | Practical implication |
|---|---|---|---|
| C1Can an intraday dip end the account? | Rules page, help centreS3S8S9“A rough patch mid-session can't end your account”; only the closing balance counts | Site's Eval Simulator codeS34Code described as “FYE's exact eval rules” sets the floor from the last close, then “touching the floor intraday ends the run” | On $50K the floor starts at $48,000: a mid-session dip to $47,900 that closes the day at $48,600 survives under A and ends the account under B. The binding drawdown terms are in the unpublished Funded Account Agreement. |
| C2Does the Max Loss Limit lock during the evaluation? | Help centre, rules pageS8S9S3“In the evaluation the limit simply trails your closing balance”, with no lock | Rules page FAQ, simulator codeS3S34The FAQ describes the lock at start + $100, then adds “The same model applies in evaluation and once you're funded”; the simulator code locks the evaluation floor too | A $150K evaluation that closed at $158,000 has a floor of $153,500 if it only trails, or $150,100 if it locked: $3,400 of room depends on the answer. |
| C3Does Clear have a consistency rule? | Rules pageS3Hitting the target within the Max Loss Limit is “the whole evaluation”, and the comparison table lists Clear's consistency rule as “None” (Prime 40%) | Help centreS11S12A Clear evaluation is upgraded only when its best day is at most 50% of total profit | On $25K Clear, reaching the $1,500 target with a $1,100 best day does not get you funded until total profit reaches $2,200 (the help centre's example); it does not say what happens if the 30 days run out first. |
| C4Is NinjaTrader allowed? | Terms of ServiceS4You may not “trade through an unapproved platform”; violations can mean payout denial, closure, forfeiture or a ban | Help centreS25NinjaTrader “is not part of our platform lineup”, yet “Using it isn't a rule violation” | A NinjaTrader trader relies on a help article against a contract clause whose stated penalties include payout denial. Use a listed platform, or get the help centre's answer confirmed in writing. |
Marketing claims the documents qualify
- “No Consistency Rule” holds only for the Prime evaluation and funded Clear accounts: a Clear evaluation needs a best day of at most 50% of profit, and funded Prime payouts at most 40%.S1S11
- “No Daily Loss Limit” is true of Clear and of $25K Prime; Prime $50K and up carries a $1,200–$2,700 daily limit.S1S10
- “1 Day Fastest Pass” and “no minimum number of trading days” fit Prime only; a Clear evaluation needs at least two trading days.S1S27S12
- “our only cut is 10%, with no other fees” leaves out the $5.00 and $0.50 round-turn commissions taken from the balance, reset fees and the monthly Level 2 add-on in the Terms.S1S3S17S4
- “There's exactly one limit that can end your account” is qualified on the same page, where conduct breaches can close accounts at the firm's discretion; the Terms add contract-limit breaches and inactivity.S3S18S4
- “trade real markets on a funded account” and “real fills” describe simulated accounts: the Terms say no real capital is deployed and no live orders are executed, and logins use Rithmic Paper Trading.S1S2S4S26
- “hundreds of thousands in real payouts — on time, every time” is unverified, and the Terms give only typical timeframes and let the firm delay, reduce or deny payouts.S28S4
- “Scale your account as you grow” has no account-size scaling plan behind it; only Clear's contract limit scales, and a move to a live program after five payouts is at the firm's discretion.S1S13S4
- “the Edge Lab reading every trade from day one” starts only after 20 round-turn trades, per the help centre.S1S33

Account progression
Starting size, funded ceiling and the live program are separate things.
Funded ceiling
Up to three funded accounts at once, as a household total; the homepage's “$450K” is three simulated $150K accounts.S3S1
Clear size scaling
Funded Clear starts at 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 minis and reaches the tier maximum at $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 of profit; each payout can step it back down.S13
Markets, platforms, KYC and support
What you can trade
CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX futures in standard and micro sizes: equity indices (ES, NQ, YM, RTY), energy (CL, NG), metals (GC, SI), treasuries, grains and crypto (MBT, MET). The documents describe futures only. Exposure is set by contract limits rather than leverage, and combining correlated instruments to exceed them is prohibited.S3S4

Prime limits apply at every stage; the Clear funded column is the starting size. One mini equals 10 micros, and limits apply across all instruments at once. Funded Clear reaches the tier maximum at $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,500 of profit, and a payout can step it back down. No leverage figure is published.S13S12S4
Simulated accounts and company
Every account, evaluation and funded, is simulated: virtual funds on real Rithmic market data, with no real capital, no live orders and logins on the Rithmic Paper Trading system. Your real money goes on the fee and any resets, data add-ons or platform licences; the firm says it pays the 90% split from its own funds, as discretionary compensation.S4S5S26S2

FundYourEdge FAQ
What is FundYourEdge?
A futures prop firm run by FundYourEdge, Inc., a Wyoming corporation that says it operates from the United States, with Gary Matos named as founder and CEO. It sells one-step evaluations in two packages, Prime and Clear.S4S28
Are FundYourEdge accounts simulated?
Yes. The Terms say all trading, in the evaluation and once funded, uses virtual funds and real market data, with no real capital and no live orders. Your real money goes on the fee and any resets, data add-ons or platform licences; payouts are discretionary compensation.S4S5
How much does FundYourEdge cost?
One-time list prices are the same for Prime and Clear: $149 / $185 / $285 / $429 for $25K / $50K / $100K / $150K. Resets cost $89 / $116 / $179 / $269, commissions come out of the balance, and the cards' coupon prices need a code that we did not test.S2S17
How do Prime and Clear differ?
Prime: a 1-day minimum, no evaluation consistency rule, a soft daily limit from $50K, full size, and payouts gated by a profit goal, a 40% best-day rule and a buffer. Clear: a 2-day minimum, a 50% best-day gate to get funded, no daily limit, funded size that scales, and payouts after five profitable days.S3S11S6S7
How does the drawdown work?
The Max Loss Limit ($1,000–$4,500) trails the highest closing balance and, once funded, locks at the starting balance plus $100; whether it also locks during the evaluation is disputed. The help centre says an intraday dip cannot end the account; the site's simulator code says an intraday touch does, so ask before you rely on it.S8S3S34
When and how much can I withdraw?
On any eligible day once your package's gates are met, from $500. Caps run $1,000–$3,500 per payout by size and package, with five payouts per account. Requests are typically processed in 3–5 business days and disbursed 1–2 business days after approval through Rise, to a bank account or in USDC.S6S7S4S15
Is the evaluation fee refundable?
No. Account and reset fees are non-refundable, including accidental purchases. The only exception is a cancellation over failed verification before the account is provisioned for trading.S4S2
Which trading platforms can I use?
Every account runs on Rithmic. tradesea is recommended; MotiveWave, Quantower, ATAS, Bookmap and Sierra Chart also work, with licences bought from the vendor. NinjaTrader is no longer supported, and the help centre and the Terms disagree on whether using it breaks the rules.S29S25S4
Which countries are restricted?
Payouts cannot go to 22 countries of residence, including Russia, Ukraine, Iran and Venezuela. Being unlisted does not confirm acceptance; the Terms let the firm restrict other jurisdictions.S16S4
Can I hold more than one account?
Up to 10 active evaluations and 3 funded accounts, as household totals with one login per household. Each account must be traded independently; copying trades between your own accounts is allowed.S3S4S18
Who runs FundYourEdge, and what is unverified?
FundYourEdge, Inc. names its CEO and its governing law (Florida, with arbitration in Broward County) but no founding date or registration number. Its CME Third-Party Assessment Provider registration, “thousands” of traders and “hundreds of thousands in real payouts” are its own claims. We did not buy an account, trade or request a payout.S4S5S1S28
Considering FundYourEdge?
List prices from $149. Ask FundYourEdge in writing whether an intraday touch of the Max Loss Limit ends an account before you buy.
Futures alternatives to consider
