Options Funding Review

New prop firmUS options

Options Funding, a Wyoming company that dates itself only to 2026, sells monthly subscriptions to simulated US options evaluations on two plans that lead to simulated funded accounts; only an invitation-only Live stage trades the firm's own capital.

Some official terms conflict. Options Funding's homepage, FAQ, Rules, Terms and blog disagree on 7 points, including whether the Evaluation and Funded stages use the firm's capital (the Terms say they are simulated) and whether a breached evaluation keeps billing; further differences are noted inline. Pricing transparency

Clear but recurring

All 6 monthly list prices agree across the selector, FAQ and plan data, and the $129 activation fee and $0.65 commission are published. Cost grows with every month you take, and the Terms disagree on billing after a breach.S1S4S3

Rule clarity

Detailed, minor gaps

Per-plan tables cover targets, drawdown, caps and qualifying days, and the Terms repeat the key ones. Gaps: copy trading, the Funded lock wording and one Live answer in the FAQ.S2S3S9

Payout conditions

Restrictive

Each request needs 8 qualifying days and takes at most 50% of profits, with capped first payouts; a rejected request is still deducted, and accepting Live cancels pending payouts.S2S3S6

Operating history

Limited evidence

No launch date beyond “2026”; the earliest dated page is a May 2026 blog post. Its payout figure and testimonials are its own, and six of the ten testimonials come from affiliate partners.S1S24S21

The funded journey

How funding works at Options Funding

There is no instant model: every account passes a 1-step evaluation, and every Funded payout needs 8 qualifying days.

  1. Step 1

    Choose a plan

    2 plans
Express buy-only or Growth Level 5; check Terms 9.6 for your country.
  2. Step 2

    Subscribe

    From $239/mo
Billed monthly until funded; access within minutes, per the FAQ.
  3. Step 3

    Pass the evaluation

    10% or 12%
No time limit or minimum days; a 5% or 6% trailing floor.
  4. Step 4

    Activate and qualify

    $129 + 8 days
Activation fee, then 8 qualifying winning days; KYC at the first request.
  5. Step 5

    Request a reward

    Up to 50%
Of profits: $500–$2,000 minimum, capped payouts 1–4, 80% to you.

Our verdict on Options Funding

What Options Funding publishes. Monthly list prices from $239/mo (Express, $25K) to $499/mo (Growth, $100K), billed until you are funded, and a $129 activation fee credited back on the first payout. The Rules give per-plan tables for targets, drawdown, payout minimums and caps, with no time limit, minimum days or consistency rule, and Growth allows spreads, multi-leg and undefined-risk trades.S1S4S2

What is unresolved. The firm's pages disagree on 7 points, including whether a breached evaluation keeps billing, how fast payouts arrive and whether copy trading is allowed, and the homepage's “our capital” sits beside Terms that call the Evaluation and Funded stages simulated.S1S2S3S5

What is unverified. Options Funding LLC gives no launch date beyond “2026”. Its $1,100,000+ “Verified Payouts” figure and its ten homepage testimonials (six from affiliate partners) are its own, and the Terms let it hold, reject or offset rewards, keep the amount of a rejected request and cancel pending payouts when a trader accepts Live.S1S3S6

How we review & sourcing: built from 9 official documents (the plan selector, Rules, Terms, Live Program Rules, Live Trader Agreement and four FAQ topics) as published on 16 Oct 2026, plus 16 supporting pages. We did not buy an account, start a checkout or request a payout. Sources and method

Bottom line · A detailed options-only rulebook with monthly billing and strict, capped payouts on simulated accounts. If you subscribe, budget for several months of fees, read the Live clause before you request payouts, and get written answers on the conflicts first.

Pros

  • Options only: Growth allows spreads, condors and naked options
  • No time limit, minimum days or consistency rule
  • Overnight holds, news trading and 0DTE allowed
  • Payout minimums and the first four caps published by plan and size
  • $129 activation fee credited back on the first payout

Cons

  • Billed every month until funded; fees generally non-refundable
  • 8 qualifying days, 50% per request and capped first payouts
  • A rejected payout request is still deducted from the balance
  • Accepting Live cancels pending payouts; declining caps them at $3,000
  • Manual orders only on RixTrade: no API and no chart yet

Who Options Funding may suit

May suit

  • Options traders who want spreads, condors or naked options (Growth)
  • Directional option buyers who can trade under an intraday floor (Express)
  • Traders who hold overnight or trade CPI, FOMC and earnings
  • Patient traders who can bank 8 qualifying days per payout

Use caution if you

  • Need large or fast early withdrawals
  • Trade through an API, bots or TradingView alerts
  • Plan to copy trades across several accounts
  • Expect to need several months to pass

Availability & country restrictions

Non-US traders are accepted, except in jurisdictions under comprehensive US sanctions, and rewards cannot be sent to the 22 countries and regions in Terms 9.6, a list the firm says may change. Account sizes, fees and discounts

Options Funding charges a monthly USD subscription for each evaluation, from checkout until you activate a funded account. These are the 6 list prices in its official selector on 16 Oct 2026, matching the FAQ and the page's plan data; the cheapest is $239/mo for a $25K Express.S1S4S3

Per the FAQ, discount codes reduce the monthly fee, not the $129 activation fee. Sale percentages change often (the firm's May 2026 blog cites 40% off). No code or link was tested at checkout.

Key trading rules by model

Neither plan has a time limit, minimum trading days or consistency rule. The floor is checked in real time against equity, with long options valued at the bid and short ones at the ask, so the spread alone can push a large position toward it.S2S3S9

Accounts: up to 10 active evaluation or funded accounts at a time, per the FAQ. The homepage's “Copy trade up to 10 accounts” is explained nowhere (C4).S4S1

Commission: $0.65 per contract on every leg, opening and closing, taken from the account balance, so it counts toward profit and drawdown: opening and closing 10 contracts costs $13.S4

How the floor moves

Express's floor rises with each new equity high in real time; Growth's rises only at the close. Either is breached the moment equity touches it intraday. The FAQ's Growth $50K example: the floor starts at $47,000, a $52,000 close lifts it to $49,000 and a $53,000 close to $50,000.S2S9

The Funded lock

A funded account starts with a fresh trailing floor. The Rules and FAQ say it locks at the starting balance when the balance reaches the lock balance (the starting balance) or when the first payout is paid, whichever comes first. A funded balance starts at that level, yet the FAQ's own example has a floor still trailing at $98,600 under a $104,600 high on $100K Growth, so the first trigger is unclear. The firm's May 2026 blog says the floor locks the moment you are funded; the Rules do not. A funded breach closes the account for good.S2S9S3S21

Strategies, tickers and expiry

Express is buy-only: single-leg long calls and puts, no selling. Growth has Level 5 access: credit and debit spreads, iron condors, calendars, diagonals and naked short options, within the floor. Both trade only whitelisted tickers. Overnight holds and news trading are allowed; expiring positions are closed at 3:55 PM ET, or 4:10 PM ET for SPY, QQQ, IWM and DIA.S2S25S23S15S10

Automation, devices and VPN

Every order is placed by hand in RixTrade: no API, no automated routing and no TradingView link. A VPN is generally allowed, and one account can be open in two sessions. Related accounts are identified by identity, payment method, device, IP or household, and circumventing rules across them is prohibited.S11S10S3

The 12-hour figure

The Rules say a payout can be paid “as quick as 12 hours from your request” and the Payouts FAQ says “As fast as 12 hours”; the payouts page shows “the fastest track open to you”, which no document defines. The same FAQ says approved payouts typically clear within a few business days, and the Terms call all timing an estimate (C3). Review comes first, and we did not test it.S2S5S3

A first payout, worked through

The FAQ's $100K Growth account peaks at $104,600 with its floor trailing at $98,600. Requested there, half the $4,600 profit is $2,300, so the $2,000 first cap applies. Read as a gross withdrawal (the documents do not say whether caps apply before or after the split), you receive $1,600 at 80% plus the $129 fee credit; the balance drops to $102,600 and the floor locks at $100,000, leaving $2,600 of room instead of $6,000. The next request needs a balance of at least $104,301 ($104,600 less the $300 the cap held back, plus $1) and 8 new qualifying days.S9S2S3

Holds, rejections and offsets

Rewards can be held for KYC, tax, sanctions or payment-risk review, offset against amounts owed, and are not processed while a chargeback is open; the Terms disagree on whether a dispute alone suspends the account (C7). A rejected request is still removed from the balance and not returned, while a request you cancel leaves it unchanged.S3S5S13

The Live stage

Live is invitation-only and replaces the simulated program for good. It is one real-capital account at Interactive Brokers: $12,500, $25,000 or $50,000 of firm capital (for a $25K, $50K or $100K plan), with a $2,000, $2,500 or $5,000 trailing drawdown, a daily loss limit while it trails, 80% of realized profit and no payout caps. The Live Program Rules lock the floor once total profit equals the drawdown; one Going Live FAQ answer says otherwise (C5), and the documents describe what the floor trails both as peak or high-water equity and as the highest end-of-day value. From the second month, broker market-data charges reduce your equity.S6S3S12S7

Official information that needs clarification

The Terms are dated 1 Oct 2026 and the Live Program Rules 3 Oct 2026; the Rules page and FAQ carry no date, and the blog post was last updated 5 Aug 2026. None of these 7 points was resolved on 16 Oct 2026, and smaller differences are noted inline; ask support in writing which version applies to you.S3S6S2S21

Marketing claims the documents qualify

  • “Scale up to $1M in capital” and “$1,000,000 in capital” rest on simulated accounts: the largest is $100K and the FAQ allows 10 at once. Live, the only real-capital stage, is one account of at most $50,000 ($125,000 of buying power at full scale).S1S4S6

  • “Trade SPY, QQQ, or any stock options” holds only at Live; Evaluation and Funded accounts are limited to 275 whitelisted tickers.S1S2S15
  • “Refundable Activation Fee” is a $129 credit on the first payout, never a refund to your card, and is lost if the account never pays out.S1S3
  • “$1,100,000+ In Verified Payouts” and “Real profits paid to funded Options Funding traders” name no verifier or evidence, and the Terms call Funded payouts discretionary rewards, not profits.S1S3
  • “results map cleanly to live conditions” (Getting Started FAQ) sits beside Terms 15.5, which says simulated environments “differ materially” in fills, slippage, liquidity and latency.S14S3

Refunds, resets, rewards and scaling

Separate programs with separate conditions. The only published program refund is the $129 activation fee, as a credit on the first payout (Terms 10.6). Otherwise fees come back only at the firm's discretion for billing errors, or for a charge on an account the firm itself closed (Terms 10.5), and never because a trader reaches Live.S3S2S6

Account progression

Starting size, simulated funded size and the real-capital Live account are three different numbers.

Starting account

$25K, $50K or $100K per evaluation, from $239/mo; up to 10 active accounts at once, per the FAQ.S1S4

Funded (simulated)

The same size as the evaluation; no scaling plan is published for a Funded account, and monthly billing stops at activation.S2S3

Live (by invitation)

One real-capital account sized by your largest funded plan: $12,500, $25,000 or $50,000 of firm capital (for a $25K, $50K or $100K plan). Buying power starts at 0.5x the plan size and reaches 1.25x after $10,000 of realized profit and 30 closed trades with a statistically positive average.S6S3

Markets, platforms, KYC and support

What you can trade

Options only. Evaluation and Funded accounts trade options on 275 whitelisted US-listed tickers, including SPY, QQQ, IWM, DIA, SPX, SPXW, XSP, RUT and VIX (NDX is not listed), with 0DTE and weeklies allowed; there are no stocks, futures, forex or crypto. At Live, US listed stock and index options trade on any ticker, stock is closing-only, naked short calls are refused, and everything else is blocked at the broker.S15S10S25S2S6

Leverage: none is published for any stage. The simulated accounts are bounded by their dollar drawdown; at Live, buying power starts at half the plan size and can reach 1.25x it.S2S6S3

Simulated accounts and company

The Evaluation and Funded stages are simulated: the Terms call every balance “fictitious”, RixTrade routes no order to an exchange, and Funded payouts are discretionary rewards, not withdrawals of profit. Despite the homepage's “trade with our capital” (C1), your real money at stake there is the monthly fee, any reset you buy and the activation fee. Only the invitation-only Live stage trades the firm's own capital, at Interactive Brokers, in an account the trader does not own.S3S20S6S1

Options Funding FAQ

What is Options Funding?

An options-only prop firm run by Options Funding LLC, a Wyoming company based in Sheridan. It sells monthly evaluation subscriptions on two plans, Express and Growth, traded on the RixTrade web platform.S3S1S11

Are Options Funding accounts simulated?

Yes, until Live. The Terms call Evaluation and Funded balances fictitious and Funded payouts discretionary rewards. Only the invitation-only Live stage trades the firm's own capital, at Interactive Brokers.S3S6

Which plans can I buy?

Express and Growth, each at $25K, $50K or $100K. Both are one-step evaluations with no time limit, minimum days or consistency rule; there is no instant-funding model.S1S4S2

How do Express and Growth differ?

Express: 10% target, a 5% trailing floor that rises intraday, buy-only single-leg calls and puts. Growth: 12% target, a 6% floor that rises at the close, Level 5 with spreads and naked options. Express has the higher fourth payout cap on $50K and $100K.S2S5

How much does Options Funding cost?

$239/mo to $499/mo until you are funded, plus a $129 activation fee credited on the first payout and $0.65 per contract per leg. Advertised discounts need a code or referral link and were not verified at checkout, and fees are generally non-refundable.S1S4S2S3

How does the drawdown work?

It trails your highest equity by 5% (Express, rising intraday) or 6% (Growth, rising at the close) and is checked in real time, with long options valued at the bid. In Funded it locks at the starting balance when your balance reaches the lock balance or your first payout is paid, whichever comes first; the FAQ's own example leaves the first trigger unclear.S2S9

When can I request a payout?

After 8 qualifying winning days in the cycle ($100, $150 or $200 realized on $25K, $50K or $100K). You can take up to 50% of profits, with a $500 to $2,000 minimum and caps on payouts 1 to 4; you keep 80%.S2S5

What happens if I am invited to Live?

You get 30 days to answer. Accepting closes your accounts and cancels pending payout requests without payment; declining pays them up to $3,000 in total and bars re-entry; not answering pays nothing.S3S6S12

Are the fees refundable?

Generally not: refunds are considered for billing errors, duplicate charges or processing failures, and Terms 10.5 refunds a charge on an account the firm itself closed. The $129 activation fee comes back as a credit on the first payout, and the Terms disagree on whether a breached evaluation keeps billing.S3S13S2

Which countries are restricted?

Traders in jurisdictions under comprehensive US sanctions are not accepted, and rewards cannot be sent to the 22 countries and regions in Terms 9.6. Being off that list does not confirm acceptance.S8S3

Who runs Options Funding, and what is unverified?

Options Funding LLC, which gives no launch date beyond 2026. Its $1,100,000+ payout figure, testimonials, 12-hour payout claim and support times are its own; we did not buy an account, trade or request a payout.S1S3S2S18
