VerticalProp Review
VerticalProp sells simulated, crypto-first trading accounts on its own web platform (1-Step and 2-Step evaluations and an Instant model), with rewards paid by Vertical LLC, a Delaware company that says it is not regulated.
- 1-Step· 12% target
- 2-Step· 10% then 5%

Some official terms conflict. VerticalProp's marketing pages, help centre and legal documents disagree on at least 8 material points, including whether funded accounts trade real capital (the Terms say they are simulated) and whether Vertical can take the other side of your trades; further differences are noted inline. Pricing transparency
Clear fees, unpriced add-onAll 15 list prices match between the selector and the help centre, but the split add-on has no published price and per-instrument commission and financing rates appear only in a table that loads in the browser.S1S2S23

Our verdict on VerticalProp
What VerticalProp publishes. List prices run from $65 (2-Step, $5K) to $999 (Instant, $100K), one-time, and the help centre's live rules table sets out each model's targets and limits, with worked examples. The 1-Step and 2-Step pair a static 6% floor with no time limit and no consistency rule.S1S2
What is unresolved. Its marketing and its legal documents disagree on whether funded accounts trade real capital (C1), whether Vertical can take the other side of your trades (C2) and the combined capital cap (C3). The split without the add-on, the add-on's price and the restricted-country list are not published.S1S15S3S4S2
What is unverified. Vertical LLC says it is not regulated, and its Terms date from January 2026. Its claims of 339 traders (About) or “300+” (homepage), $1.52B in platform volume, a 2h 51m average payout and on-chain payins and payouts are its own, and every payout needs an admin's approval.S3S16S1S15S5
How we review & sourcing: built from VerticalProp's 14 core official documents and help-centre articles as published on 16 Oct 2026, plus 14 supporting pages. We did not buy an account, trade or request a payout. Sources and method
Bottom line · Cheap entry and clearly written core rules, but a very new firm that says it is not regulated and whose marketing contradicts its own legal documents on capital, counterparty and caps. If you buy, start small, get the split and the add-on price in writing, and treat the fee as money you can afford to lose.
Pros
- List prices from $65, plus a free 14-day trial
- Static 6% floor and no time limit on 1-Step and 2-Step
- No consistency rule outside Instant
- News trading and weekend holding allowed
- On-demand payouts from $100, with no payout fee
Cons
- Official pages conflict on at least 8 points
- Split without the add-on, and its price, unpublished
- Policy lets Vertical copy, A-book or B-book your trades
- No published restricted-country list
- No algos or AI agents; browser-only platform
Who VerticalProp may suit
May suit
- Crypto traders who want a static 6% floor and no time limit (1-Step, 2-Step)
- Traders testing a new firm cheaply: $65 entry, or a free 14-day trial
- Discretionary traders happy with a browser-only terminal
- Swing traders who hold overnight and over weekends (financing is charged daily)
Use caution if you
- Trade with bots, algorithms, AI agents, HFT, grid or martingale
- Need FX, single stocks or a MetaTrader platform
- Want the base split and the add-on price before paying
- Need a regulated firm or a long payout record
- Hedge, or copy another trader's signals
Availability & country restrictions
The Terms exclude residents or citizens of restricted jurisdictions and anyone on EU, OFAC, UN or US sanctions lists, and say the current list is on the website. We found no such list on either site; the homepage's risk warning only excludes people where use would break local rules.S3S1
Restricted countries: Not published.
With no published list, nothing here confirms that your country is accepted; ask support before you pay. The Terms also forbid getting around geographical restrictions.
Account sizes, fees and discounts
VerticalProp charges a one-time USD fee. These are the 15 list prices in its homepage selector on 16 Oct 2026, matching the help centre's live rules table; the cheapest is $65 for a $5K 2-Step.S1S2
List prices by model (USD)
| Size | 1-Step | 2-Step | Instant |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5K | $69 | $65 (lowest list price) | $95 |
| $10K | $109 | $99 | $155 |

| $50K | $485 | $395 | $599 |
| $100K | $865 | $659 | $999 |
Checked 16 Oct 2026, 02:18–02:46 UTC. The $50K tier is sold as “$50K +$10,000” on every model, and the help centre's rules table lists it as a $60K account at the same prices. The homepage does not say what the bonus is; if the starting balance is $60,000, a 10% target is $6,000 rather than $5,000. The free trial is not shown.

Key trading rules by model
No paid model has a time limit or minimum trading days, but the Terms require you to activate a challenge by opening a first trade within 30 days. Every limit is checked against live equity, open trades included.S2S3

Free trial: 14 days in Instant, 1-Step or 2-Step form, $5K–$100K, with no card and no profit share; the 1-Step and 2-Step trials need 3 trading days per phase, and you can hold one at a time.S2S11S15
Funded gates without values: the funded-account page also lists minimum profitable days, an inactivity timeout and martingale and one-side-betting detection, but gives no figures for any model.S10
Daily limit and drawdown floors
The daily limit resets at 17:00 New York. The help centre says each challenge measures it either as a fixed share of the starting balance or from the day-open level, read from equity by default, but does not say which the paid models use; the homepage labels it “Daily Loss (Balance)”. On $100K that is $3,000 a day, or $3,120 after a $104,000 open. The 1-Step and 2-Step floor stays at $94,000; Instant's starts at $95,000, follows the peak $5,000 behind and locks at $100,000 once the peak reaches $105,000.S2S1
Payout gates
Instant's 20% consistency rule is checked only when you request a payout and blocks the request rather than breaching the account: a $200 best day needs $1,000 of net profit, fees and funding included. Funded 1-Step and 2-Step accounts need 5 trading days, each with at least one closed trade, in every payout cycle.S2S11S7
Strategies, algos and copy trading
Scalping is allowed, and there is no five-minute restriction around economic announcements for indices or commodities. HFT, grid and martingale, hedging within or across accounts, copying other traders, arbitrage and one-side betting are banned, and opening trades just before a market closes to catch the gap breaches the account. Algorithmic and agent-driven trading is not funded “at this time”, and the Claude and ChatGPT connector is read-only. Copying between your own accounts is allowed only “under specific conditions” that are not published.S2S19S1S27
Costs and execution
Spreads are RAW; you pay commission on notional at entry and exit, a daily overnight rate at the 21:00 UTC rollover with no triple swap, and the live funding rate on some crypto perpetuals. Orders fill at the live bid or ask with no slippage model, and instruments can carry a notional cap shared across all your accounts. A challenge can override the default rates and leverage, and the A-Book Policy lets Vertical change execution (C6).S21S24S2S4

Payouts and profit sharing
Every request needs a funded account in profit, closed positions and cancelled orders (when trading pauses during payouts, the default), SumSub KYC and no other request open; only realized profit above the starting balance counts. The Payouts FAQ places the first payout after an “initial trading period” that no page defines.S7S6S8S20

Methods: RiseWorks by default, paying USDC to your RiseWorks account (then bank transfer, USDC or a local rail) 1–3 business days after approval; or, where enabled, crypto straight to your own wallet the same day after approval (USDT or USDC on several networks, BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, LTC or DOGE), in whole dollars after the split. VerticalProp charges no payout fee; your bank may.S6S8S9
No pledge on approval time
Each request waits for an admin to accept or reject it, and no page gives a time for that step; the 1–3 business days or same-day delivery count from approval. The About page's 2h 51m average and “in hours, every time” are the firm's own figures (C5), which we did not test.S5S6S16
What you actually receive
Only realized profit above the starting balance can be withdrawn, and the $100 minimum is measured before the split. On $100K, closing out at $104,000 leaves $4,000 eligible. The split without the add-on is not published: at the payout guide's example 80% you would receive $3,200, at the homepage graphic's implied 90% $3,600, and at 95% $3,800.S7S6S9S1S2
Instant after a payout
The payout leaves the simulated account at once, and the daily limit moves down with it. Instant's trailing floor then either drops by the payout or locks at the starting balance, a setting the help centre does not state for Instant; with the lock, withdrawing from $105,500 to exactly $100,000 breaches the account.S5S2
Official information that needs clarification
VerticalProp's marketing pages (homepage, About and its site summary), help centre and legal pages disagree with one another on at least 8 points; the key ones are listed below. The Terms are dated 15 Jan 2026 and the help articles carry no dates; none of the points was resolved when we checked on 16 Oct 2026, and smaller differences are noted inline. Marketing claims the documents qualify
- “keep up to 95% of your profits” is the highest split in the rules table. The help centre says some challenges offer a checkout add-on that raises the split, but publishes neither the add-on's price nor the split without it; its payout examples use 80%, and the homepage's “How It Works” graphic shows a $3,600 payout from $4,000 of profit (90%).S1S2S11S6S9
- “scale up automatically” becomes, in the help centre, a line that profitable traders “may be eligible” for scaling, with no plan or figures.S1S10
- “withdraw profits in USDT” holds only where direct crypto payouts are enabled; the default rail, RiseWorks, pays USDC.S1S6S8
- “Our team is online around the clock, every day.” The help centre quotes 24–48 hours by email and 48–72 hours for payout inquiries.S1S25
- “thousands of funded traders” compares with 339 traders on the About page and “300+” in the homepage's own call to action.S1S16
- “Payins and payouts settled on-chain, fully verifiable.” The Terms also accept card payments for fees, and we did not check any on-chain record.S15S3

Markets, platforms, KYC and support
What you can trade
About 100 crypto pairs, gold and silver, the US100 and US500 indices, and WTI and Brent oil, which the site's risk warning describes as perpetual futures; crypto is priced from OKX and the rest from Hyperliquid, per the site summary. Marketing also advertises stocks, FX and pre-IPO, which the help centre's catalogue does not list (C4). Per-instrument leverage, notional caps and fees sit on an instruments page whose table loads only inside the browser; we did not read it.S2S19S1S15S23
Leverage: the homepage advertises up to 1:10. The help centre publishes no fixed cap: you pick leverage per position up to a per-instrument ceiling, a challenge phase can raise or lower that ceiling, and the order ticket shows the limit that applies.S1S22S19
Simulated accounts and company
The Terms say challenge and funded accounts are both simulated: no real trades are executed, the capital has no monetary value, and rewards are paid by Vertical LLC from its own funds rather than from trading profits. Your real-money exposure is the fee, although marketing says you trade “our capital” (C1). The Copy Trading & A-Book Policy separately lets Vertical copy your trades and A-book or B-book them (C2).S3S12S1S4

Channels: Discord (which it recommends) and email (support@verticalprop.com). The help centre quotes 24–48 hours for email, 24–72 hours for account issues and 48–72 hours for payout inquiries, while the homepage says the team is “online around the clock”; we did not test either. VerticalProp FAQ
What is VerticalProp?
A crypto-first prop firm run by Vertical LLC, a Delaware company, and branded “Vertical” on its homepage. It sells 1-Step, 2-Step and Instant accounts on its own browser-based platform.S3S1
Are VerticalProp accounts simulated?
Yes. The Terms say challenge and funded accounts are both simulated and the capital has no monetary value; your real-money outlay is the fee, and rewards come from Vertical LLC's own funds. The homepage still says you trade “our capital”.S3S12S1
Which account models can I buy?
1-Step, 2-Step and Instant, each at $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K and $100K. The $50K tier is sold with a “+$10,000” bonus and listed as $60K in the rules table. A free 14-day trial is also offered.S1S2
How do the three models differ?
1-Step: a 12% target. 2-Step: 10%, then 5%. Both have a 3% daily limit, a static 6% floor, no consistency rule and 5 trading days per payout cycle. Instant skips the evaluation and uses a 5% trailing floor that locks at the starting balance, plus a 20% consistency check at payout.S2
How much does VerticalProp cost?
One-time list prices run from $65 (2-Step, $5K) to $999 (Instant, $100K): $69–$865 for 1-Step, $65–$659 for 2-Step and $95–$999 for Instant. Trades also pay commission and overnight financing.S1S2S21
How do the daily limit and drawdown work?
The 3% daily limit resets at 17:00 New York, and every limit is checked against live equity, open trades included. 1-Step and 2-Step keep a static floor 6% below the starting balance; Instant's floor trails the peak by 5% and locks at the starting balance.S2
When can I request a payout?
On demand once a funded account is in profit: a $100 gross minimum, closed positions (by default), KYC and one request at a time. 1-Step and 2-Step need 5 trading days per cycle; Instant must pass its 20% consistency check. An admin approves every request.S2S7S5
What profit split do I get?
VerticalProp advertises “Up to 95%”, the highest split in its rules table. The help centre says some challenges offer a checkout add-on that raises the split, but it does not say which, what the add-on costs or what the split is without it; its payout examples use 80%. Ask before you buy.S2S11S9
Is the fee refundable?
Only if you withdraw as a consumer within 14 days and before your first simulated trade. After that, fees are non-refundable, including after you pass or receive a payout.S3S2
Which platform does it use?
Its own browser-based terminal with Vertical Chart; no other platform is documented. Algorithmic and AI-agent trading is not funded, and the Claude and ChatGPT connector is read-only.S12S1S27
Which countries are restricted?
The Terms refer to a restricted-jurisdiction list on the website, but we found none, so ask support before buying. People on EU, OFAC, UN or US sanctions lists are excluded.S3
Considering VerticalProp?
List prices from $65. Ask VerticalProp in writing for the split without the add-on, the add-on's price and the restricted-country list before you buy.

How this review was researched
We read each official page in full, logged every claim with its model, stage and source, and re-fetched all pages on 16 Oct 2026 (02:18–02:46 UTC). We read only pages VerticalProp's robots.txt opens to automated readers, so its transparency figures and data feeds were not used. “Published” means VerticalProp says it, not that it is proven.
